The Digitech Bass Synth Wah is a dynamic bass envelope filter and synth-style effect pedal packed into a compact stompbox. Designed specifically for bass but also favored by adventurous guitarists, it delivers seven unique synth and filter voicings—from classic envelope filter sweeps to sub-octave growls, vowel-like textures, and the signature Synth Talk™ effect.
The control interface consists of four knobs. Sens adjusts how sensitively the filter responds to your picking attack, allowing more expressive playing. Control modifies parameters such as wet/dry balance or filter/synth attack depending on the selected effect type. Range influences the depth of the envelope sweep or the cutoff frequency. Type lets you select one of the seven effect algorithms. Dual outputs allow for flexible routing: Output 1 delivers a mix or dry signal, while Output 2 sends the effect-only signal—ideal for parallel setups or split chains.
It operates on a standard 9 V DC power supply (center-negative) or a 9 V battery (not included), although external power is recommended due to its current draw.
