 The TC Electronic Booster Line Driver Distortion, affectionately referred to as the BLD, is a guitar pedal classic.  Either a distortion or a clean boost with EQ can be produced.  It may be used to run high gain off the distortion chain with no noise floor because to its included noise suppressor/gate.
