The AMT B2 Legend Amps Preamp is a compact analog preamp pedal designed to deliver high-gain amplifier tones inspired by Bogner-style amplification. Part of the Legend Amps series, the B2 focuses on modern, saturated distortion with tight low-end response, detailed midrange presence and smooth high-frequency articulation. The pedal is suitable for use directly into a power amp, effects return, recording interface or as a high-quality drive source in front of an amplifier.
The B2 is designed to provide strong note separation even at higher gain settings, making it suitable for articulate rhythm playing as well as sustaining lead tones. Its analog circuit structure delivers a responsive playing feel with controlled compression and defined attack characteristics.
The compact enclosure makes the B2 practical for pedalboard integration while still offering the tonal characteristics associated with high-end boutique amplifier designs.
