The Electro‑Harmonix Nano Q‑Tron is a compact, analog envelope-controlled filter that channels the rich, organic tone of its larger siblings while fitting neatly on any pedalboard. Powered by your input dynamics, it automatically sweeps its filter cutoff based on how you play, making it equally effective on guitar, bass, keyboards, horns, or percussion. Housed in a rugged die-cast chassis, it features true bypass for signal integrity.
Its control layout includes Volume for output level, Drive to adjust sensitivity—clockwise for a more dramatic sweep, counterclockwise for subtle response—and Q to set the filter resonance, from smooth to sharply pronounced. The three-way mode switch selects low-pass for warm tones, band-pass for funky midrange bite, or high-pass for bright, edgy effects. It operates on a standard 9 V battery (not included) or an optional center-negative 9.6 VDC power supply (200 mA max).
