The Electro-Harmonix Q-Tron is a powerful multimode envelope filter that delivers classic auto-wah effects with punch, clarity, and expression. This is the XO-series 24V version, designed for a wide frequency response, strong dynamic tracking, and smooth, musical filter sweeps. It comes fully tested and includes the correct 24V adapter for optimal performance.
The Q-Tron features detailed control over every aspect of the filter response. The Drive switch selects whether the filter sweeps upward or downward. The Norm/Boost switch allows you to choose between clean response or a more aggressive, driven signal. The Peak control sets the filter resonance, giving you sharper or more subtle effects. Gain adjusts the input sensitivity, and in Boost mode also affects output level. The Range switch toggles between Hi and Lo voicings — from overtone-rich highs to deep, vowel-like lows.
The Mode selector lets you choose between Lowpass, Bandpass, Highpass, or a Mix setting that blends the bandpass effect with your dry signal. Finally, the Response switch lets you pick between Slow (for smooth, vowel-like movement) or Fast (for punchy, snappy attacks).
