The Ibanez WH10 V1 is a cult-classic wah pedal, originally released in the late 1980s and made in Japan. Known for its distinctive tone and unique features, the WH10 V1 became a favorite among alternative and experimental guitarists — most famously used by John Frusciante of the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Unlike traditional wahs, the WH10 features both guitar and bass modes, making it one of the first wah pedals designed to accommodate a broader frequency range. Its distinctive sweep and strong midrange boost give it a vocal, expressive sound that cuts through the mix beautifully. The pedal also includes a depth control to adjust the effect’s intensity, offering more flexibility than most standard wahs.

This particular unit is fully functional and in excellent working condition. The original grey plastic housing — often a weak point — is completely intact, with no cracks or damage whatsoever. A rare find for collectors and players alike.
