Though the OP07C replaces the vintage LM308, it preserves the signature low slew rate and clipping behavior that define the RAT’s gritty, mid-focused distortion. Players often describe the difference as negligible in tone—slightly brighter at most—while retaining the pedal's raw, dynamic sound.
The pedal features the classic three-knob layout: Distortion controls the gain and saturation, Filter acts as a reversed tone control that cuts highs as it's turned clockwise, and Volume sets the output level.
