The Dunlop GCB‑95 Crybaby (Made in the USA, pre‑CE, serial number AA‑20P891) is a legendary wah pedal renowned for delivering the classic wah tone that shaped rock, blues and funk music. Built before CE certification requirements, this vintage example offers premium American components and craftsmanship with a rich, vocal‑like sweep and pronounced midrange resonance that responds dynamically to your playing style.

Controls include the foot‑treadle wah sweep mechanism controlling the resonant frequency range, from bassy lows up to bright highs as your foot rocks forward and back. The pedal features a true bypass switch activated by foot press, heavy die‑cast steel housing for maximum durability, and can be powered by a 9 V battery or Dunlop ECB‑003 adapter.

Notable users of the GCB‑95 include Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton, both of whom helped define the Crybaby sound in their groundbreaking recordings. The pedal’s design traces back to the original Vox wah circuit of 1966, which Dunlop licensed and refined in 1982 with a higher input impedance buffer to preserve tone and reduce tone‑sucking. As an amateur, fitting in the Boss SD-1 Super Overdrive is complicated. With the POD 2.0 alone there are so many variables, and more so with the SD-1. To play along with Tool's 'Pneuma' took me 10 minutes to arrive at the right sounds, sort of. The SD-1 is a less powerful apparatus than I expected, but in time we will be friends I guess.

Mooie wah/fuzz , klinkt meer dan prima . Het enige nadeel is dat je de fuzz niet apart kunt gebruiken en de volgorde wah/fuzz of fuzz/wah niet kunt omschakelen . Is voor de rest ook geen probleem , maar het was mooi geweest als het kon .
