The Hotone Heart Attack is a compact 5-watt Class AB guitar amplifier head from the Nano Legacy Series, with a sound inspired by the legendary Mesa Boogie Rectifier. It captures the main characteristics of that iconic high-gain amplifier at low volume, making it an excellent choice for metal and hard rock players who want a classic, aggressive amp voice in a portable format. The control layout consists of separate volume and gain controls and a three-band EQ, providing ample tone-shaping range, from warm, cleaner passages to a huge, saturated high-gain stack sound. The speaker output automatically adapts to cabinets with impedances between 4 and 16 ohms, so the head can drive virtually any guitar cabinet. An FX loop allows external effects to be connected between the preamp and power amp stages, a headphone output makes silent practice and recording monitoring convenient, and an aux input lets the player jam along with backing tracks from an external audio player. The amplifier runs on an 18-volt DC power supply. Despite its extremely small footprint, the Heart Attack delivers a serious, full-bodied tone that has made the Nano Legacy Series popular among guitarists seeking a genuine amplifier sound for practice, studio use, and travel. This unit has been tested and serviced and functions as intended.

Customer photo review of Boss SD-1 Super Overdrive (s/n 094922, black label)

As an amateur, fitting in the Boss SD-1 Super Overdrive is complicated. With the POD 2.0 alone there are so many variables, and more so with the SD-1. To play along with Tool's 'Pneuma' took me 10 minutes to arrive at the right sounds, sort of. The SD-1 is a less powerful apparatus than I expected, but in time we will be friends I guess.

Customer video review of Mythos Argo Octave Fuzz

Customer photo review of Dunlop Crybaby Dardevil Fuzz Wah (s/n AC68F984)
