The MXR Phase 90 is one of the most iconic phaser pedals ever made. Introduced by MXR in 1972 as the company's first product, it quickly became a defining sound of 1970s rock and remains in production to this day under the Jim Dunlop brand. The Phase 90 delivers a lush, organic four-stage phasing effect that adds movement, depth, and dimension to clean passages, chord work, and lead lines alike. Its single speed control sets the rate of the sweep, from slow, watery undulations reminiscent of classic studio recordings to fast, swirling modulation with a strong sense of motion. The pedal's simplicity is a large part of its appeal: no unnecessary controls stand between the player and the effect, and the phase character sits naturally in the mix without overpowering the core tone. The Phase 90 excels in combination with a mildly overdriven amp, where it produces a warm, breathing quality that has graced countless recordings. This unit has been tested and serviced and functions as intended. Confirmed users of the MXR Phase 90 include Eddie Van Halen (Van Halen), David Gilmour (Pink Floyd), and Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin).

Customer photo review of Boss SD-1 Super Overdrive (s/n 094922, black label)

As an amateur, fitting in the Boss SD-1 Super Overdrive is complicated. With the POD 2.0 alone there are so many variables, and more so with the SD-1. To play along with Tool's 'Pneuma' took me 10 minutes to arrive at the right sounds, sort of. The SD-1 is a less powerful apparatus than I expected, but in time we will be friends I guess.

Customer video review of Mythos Argo Octave Fuzz

Customer photo review of Dunlop Crybaby Dardevil Fuzz Wah (s/n AC68F984)
