The Tokai TCH-1 Chorus is a vintage analog chorus pedal produced by Tokai Gakki in Japan during the 1980s. While Tokai is best known worldwide for its high-quality electric guitars, the company also manufactured a small range of effect pedals in this era, and the TCH-1 is regarded as one of its finest offerings. The pedal delivers a clear, rich, and realistic chorus effect with very low noise, and it is a complete stereo chorus equipped with two outputs, allowing the effect to be spread across two amplifiers for a wide, three-dimensional sound. The controls consist of speed and depth, governing the rate and intensity of the modulation, and the second output provides a pitch-shifted signal that functions as a vibrato effect, a feature that gives the pedal considerable versatility. Thanks to its clean, transparent circuit, the TCH-1 is equally effective with electric guitars and keyboards. This example carries serial number H6000701 and has been fully tested and serviced; it functions as intended and produces the warm, lush modulation that makes vintage Japanese analog choruses so highly prized among players and collectors.

Customer photo review of Boss SD-1 Super Overdrive (s/n 094922, black label)

As an amateur, fitting in the Boss SD-1 Super Overdrive is complicated. With the POD 2.0 alone there are so many variables, and more so with the SD-1. To play along with Tool's 'Pneuma' took me 10 minutes to arrive at the right sounds, sort of. The SD-1 is a less powerful apparatus than I expected, but in time we will be friends I guess.

Customer video review of Mythos Argo Octave Fuzz

Customer photo review of Dunlop Crybaby Dardevil Fuzz Wah (s/n AC68F984)
